2011 Librarium Painting Challenge

I’ve decided to enter Bolter And Chainsword’s 2011 Librarium Painting Challenge, by entering the following, 2 Lone Wolves, 3 TWC, 5 Grey Hunters, 5 Long Fangs and Two Rhino. One of the requirements is that nothing be more than 50% and that I provide a range of WIP shots, so following are those early photos, sorry about the quality of the shots, its late in the evening so had to use an electric light :(

Two Rhinos

5 Grey Hunters, with 1 Flamer these will basically sit on my home objective.

5 Long Fangs, gotta love Missile Launcher spam, the squad leader is already finished.

3 TWC with a Thunder Hammer, and a Storm Shield equipped model.

First Lone Wolf, with TDA, Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, well Storm-Bracelets, yes its wonder-woman in GrimDark style :P

    I’m impressed with your Lone Wolf guy. I know nothing about Space Wolves, but I assume it’s the minotaur guy, right? I can’t wait to see him with some paint!

    Lone Wolves are sole surviving members of a pack/unit that have vowed to end their lives, but being marines they must do so with honour. So they get a bunch of ace equipment and go after the big nasties :D

    Build wise one of the better options is popping him in Terminator armour, unfortunately getting a Bestigor or Gor to fit, and look right in a Terminator torso proved far to difficult. So the manager at my FLGS suggested trying to use the Minotaur kit, as they are naturally much bigger. Then I decided to go crazy and attempt to DIY my own Terminator torso :D
